Recount Writing-Whaea Diane's Visit.

 Whaea Diane´s Visit.

Yesterday Whaea Diane came to our class to talk about maths.

First Whaea Diane showed us a 120´s board.  We used it to count in tens.  

After that Whaea Diane chose different people to choose a number for her and she chose Te aorangi to help her with the colored blocks.  She also used iPads to record us of what we were doing.  Next she said maths was important because it would help us learn maths to skip count in 10 20 and 30´s. So we did our work on a sheet about skip counting. Then we got started. It was easy because I was very fast at it and some people got it wrong because they weren’t listening to Whaea Diane because they were mucking around. We did lots of math. It was fun and amazing.  Finally Whaea Diane left our classroom but I wish she came back.
