My cousins house

On Tuesday I stayed at my cousins house with my aunty, Margaret, my uncle and their kids in Auckland in Papakura. 

First we unpacked our bags and ate because it was a 3 hour drive and my sister got car sick so she threw up in the toilet. Soon me, Hazley, Awatea, and CJ did grinds on the skateboard, and tricks. We all bumped into each other but we felt like our brains were flat like a pancake and we laughed like a clown. We got bored so we played skate 3 online with each other and we had a fight. We threw our boards at each other and had a big laugh and we said I am your father. Then we smelt something yummy like pizza and cake. When we ran down stairs we saw 7 boxes of pizza and it nearly made me drool but when I picked it up it felt like 1000 degrees. My mouth felt like magma. We all said our mouths feel like a fire. After that we played little nightmares then we played on the trampoline. Next we played on the xbox 1 and nintendo switch on the tv. It was fun playing games all day. Finally we went to sleep. I enjoyed playing at my cousin´s house.

The water cycle 

The water cycle is the way that water moves around the earth.

It moves water up, down and all around the earth. 

The sun heats up liquid water and turns it into water vapour then it forms a cloud and then it comes back down as rain then it goes into lakes,rivers and oceans after that the water cycle repeats over and over

The water cycle never ends because it went on for billions of years and even more. 

Why is the water cycle important to the earth?

The water cycle is important because it helps the earth by giving the earth lots of fresh water so we can live.  Animals need fresh water and plants need fresh water to live just like us humans. The earth needs fresh water to grow food for us.  So the water cycle keeps people hydrated. If there was no water cycle, lakes and rivers will dry up and if there was no water cycle no water would be on earth. So then stuff wouldn’t  grow.

The water cycle is important because it keeps living things surviving. Everything needs the water cycle so that living things can live healthy lives.

So that's why the water cycle is important to the earth.

Recount Writing-Whaea Diane's Visit.

 Whaea Diane´s Visit.

Yesterday Whaea Diane came to our class to talk about maths.

First Whaea Diane showed us a 120´s board.  We used it to count in tens.  

After that Whaea Diane chose different people to choose a number for her and she chose Te aorangi to help her with the colored blocks.  She also used iPads to record us of what we were doing.  Next she said maths was important because it would help us learn maths to skip count in 10 20 and 30´s. So we did our work on a sheet about skip counting. Then we got started. It was easy because I was very fast at it and some people got it wrong because they weren’t listening to Whaea Diane because they were mucking around. We did lots of math. It was fun and amazing.  Finally Whaea Diane left our classroom but I wish she came back.

Friday afternoon

On Friday afternoon holidays my family and I drove to the beach. 

First we got changed in the changing room but my sister didn't have a towel so she borrowed mine later after our swim. Then we got in. It was cold like me in a bucket of freezing ice and water.  Next we ran to our aunty because we went on a ferry boat. It was big as a giant because there were 22 floors. Then my Aunty told Kullen to flip his phone and catch it.  But he failed and got pushed in the pool on the boat and he screamed like this AAAAAAAA!!!!!! in a high pitched voice. It broke my room window so I fell out of my room in the pool on Kullen.  Then it was getting very late so the waiter told everyone to get to their rooms or he would throw us off the boat.  After that it was hot so I tried begging the waiter for some water and he said fine so I got me a drink.  Finally we tucked up in bed and went to sleep.
